Denji proceeds to become a devil hunter with the aid of his devil-dog, Pochita he saved. His dog helps him with his power in order to survive and accomplish all this devilish jobs. However things didn’t when smoothly as one day, Denji was betrayed by a Yakuza and killed by the Zombie Devil. Fortunately for him, Pochita sacrifices himself to save him by offering him his heart. This is how Denji becomes a Devil-Human Hybrid known as Chainsaw Man.
