Your Lie in April synopsis
It’s a story about a child prodigy named Kousei Arima. The death of Kousei’s mother resulted in psychological trauma causing him to be unable to hear the sound of his piano playing forcing him to quit playing.
Two years later, Kaori Miyazono convinced him to become her accompanist and Kousei took up the piano again. Influenced by her emotional and unrestrained playing style, Kousei eventually finds himself falling in love with her and the piano again.

Towa Hall
Towa Hall is a performance hall featured in Your Lie in April, which held piano and violin competitions. It corresponds to the Nerima Culture Center in real life. It is a very beautiful hall with a wide ceiling used for various events such as music concerts and performances.
This Culture Center is one of the most popular Your Lie in April real-life locations as it is where Kousei and Kaori met for the first time. Kousei first meets Kaori here when he spots her playing the harmonica and draws him back into the instrumental world.

Saki Hospital
Saki is the mother of Kousei Arima and was a well-known pianist across Japan in Your Lie in April.
Saki’s death greatly affected the life of Kousei for the past two years causing him to even quit playing the piano. The hospital in which she was staying, is based the Juntendo University Nerima Hospital in real life.

You might get confused between the two hospitals figuring in Your Lie in April real-life locations. This Nerima Hikarigaoka Hospital is the one which appears in a scene when Kaori is hospitalized in episode 5 of the anime.
