From Cosplay to Anime: Highlights of Yama-Con 2023

The largest anime event in East Tennessee, Yama-Con Anime & Comic event, is hosted yearly at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee’s enormous LeConte Center. It has quickly expanded in size and scope to welcome thousands of visitors, hundreds of hours of programming, events, and more as it enters its eleventh year.

Yama-Con is a three-day, multi-genre anime convention that takes place in December. The name Yama-Con is a translation of the Japanese word for mountain, “Yama.” Yama-Con 2023 will take place in LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge Pigeon Forge, TN from the 8th to the 10th of December 2023

What is Yama-Con?

It has quickly expanded in size and scope to welcome thousands of visitors, hundreds of hours of programming, events, and more as it enters its eleventh year.

The Cosplay Contest, Senpai Central, concerts, Club Yama, exhibitor hall, and gaming hall are noteworthy events. Multi-Cultural Arts Entertainment Group is the host. MCA Entertainment Group, a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization, was established in Memphis, Tennessee, with the straightforward mission of introducing enthusiastic attendees to the arts and culture of Japan through exciting events hosted largely in the Southeast of the country.

Cosplay Contest

Yama-Con gives participants the option to sign up for their contest before the convention. This gives the contestants enough time to prepare their entries without the inconvenience of entering at the last minute, and it also gives you more time to enjoy the convention.
